FAQ
Your Questions, Answered
We know saying goodbye to a beloved pet can feel overwhelming. That’s why we’ve gathered answers to the most common questions families ask us — so you can make decisions with clarity and peace of mind.
- Making Arrangements
If your pet passes on at the veterinary clinic, give us a call on our 24/7 careline 80118822. We will be able to provide our guidance and assistance immediately, offering you peace of mind as you spend time with the people who matter. Once you’ve activated us, you can take a moment to say goodbye. Most vets will allow you private time with your pet in the clinic.
Once you’re ready, simply let the clinic know that Everpet will be handling the aftercare. We can do a direct collection from the vet, so you don’t have to worry about logistics during an already difficult time.
Our team will:
- Arrange a gentle and respectful transfer directly from the vet clinic
- Guide you through the next steps at your own pace
There is no rush. Whether you need time, reassurance, or clarity on what happens next, we’re here to support you through every part of the process, with care and dignity.
Simply give us a call at our 24/7 careline 80118822 for immediate activation of urgent enquiries. For pre-planning services, you can call, email or WhatsApp us.

Yes, definitely! Every family and every pet receives 1-to-1, personalised care with us. From the very first moment to the final return, your pet is handled with dignity, gentleness, and deep respect.
We only transport one pet at a time. Your companion is never grouped, rushed, or treated as a number. This ensures a calm, private, and respectful journey, just as a beloved family member deserves.
Yes, absolutely.
Pre-arranging for euthanasia
If you have already scheduled a euthanasia appointment with your vet, you may pre-arrange with us in advance. We will go through all the details beforehand so that, when the time comes, our team is ready to be there and handle everything smoothly and respectfully, allowing you to focus fully on being with your pet.
Pre-arrangement for peace of mind
We also highly encourage pet owners to pre-arrange a consultation even if it is just in case the unfortunate happens. Pre-arranging gives you peace of mind, knowing support is already in place. It allows you the time and space to discuss your options thoughtfully, so you remain in control, rather than having to make decisions under emotional pressure.
If you would like to pre-arrange with us, simply contact our team to schedule a consultation.
Please note that we do not require any pre-payments or deposits for pre-arrangements.
- Aqua Cremation
Aquamation is a gentle, water-based aftercare option that many families choose for its peaceful nature and environmental responsibility.
Key benefits include:
- Gentle and dignified – Aquamation uses water and a carefully controlled process, making it a calm and respectful alternative to flame cremation.
- Environmentally responsible – It has a lower carbon footprint, uses significantly less energy, and produces no airborne emissions.
- Cleaner process – There is no burning, smoke, or fire involved, which many pet parents find more comforting.
- Suitable for sensitive pets – Families who feel their pet would not be comfortable with fire often find aquamation to be a more aligned choice.
- Same meaningful remains – You still receive your pet’s ashes, allowing you to keep, scatter, or memorialise them in a way that feels right to you.
For many families, aquamation offers peace of mind, knowing their beloved companion’s final journey is gentle, respectful, and in harmony with their values.
Aquamation is a natural and gentle process that mirrors the way a body would return to the earth over time, just carefully accelerated with the help of warm water and a natural alkaline solution. Unlike flame cremation, which relies on intense heat to speed things up, aquamation works with the body rather than against it.
This is why the process takes longer:
- Gentle by nature – Aquamation follows a slow, water-based cycle that cannot and should not be rushed.
- No harsh heat – There is no burning or extreme temperature involved, which means the process unfolds more gradually.
- Respectful completion – Even after aquamation is complete, the remaining bones are allowed to dry naturally, without the use of harsh heat or aggressive machinery, to preserve their purity and integrity.
- Individual, unrushed care – Each pet is handled individually, with intention and attention at every stage.
This slower approach is intentional. It reflects patience, dignity, and deep respect, ensuring that your pet’s final journey is carried out with care from beginning to end.
Yes. It’s considered the most environmentally friendly end-of-life option for pets today.
It uses a water-based process instead of fire, which means:
- Significantly lower carbon footprint compared to flame cremation
- No airborne emissions such as smoke or harmful gases
- Lower energy usage, as it does not rely on extreme heat
In Singapore, the water used in aquamation is handled in accordance with local regulations and is sent to a licensed wastewater treatment facility, ensuring it is processed safely and responsibly.
For families who value sustainability, aquamation offers reassurance, knowing their pet’s final journey is gentle, dignified, and aligned with care for the environment.
Typically 12-18 hours from start to finish.
Yes. Your pet will be aquamated individually in their own private chamber.
We only provide private aquamation and do not offer group or communal aquamation. This ensures your pet is treated with complete dignity, care, and respect throughout the entire process, never shared, rushed, or combined with another.
For safety and privacy reasons, viewing isn’t permitted.
